San Pedro Wedding

Wow, what a crazy, tiring weekend! Friday and Saturday I had back to back weddings, and this morning I had an engagement shoot with a super fun couple. Be sure to check back later this week for those photos!

So Friday's wedding started off at the Crown Plaza Hotel in San Pedro, where I took some preparation shots of the beautiful bride as well as the groom and his posse. From there we headed down to Simons Banquet Center for the ceremony and reception. The weather was beautiful and we had some AMAZING light for the relaxed portrait session. I have been down here many times, but I never realized how many awesome locations there are to shoot! I could have easily spent 2 hours shooting around here, but unfortunately our time was limited so we had to work quickly. Nevertheless, we got some outstanding shots of this gorgeous couple.

I want to thank Cassie and Nathan of Extraordinary Moments for doing an amazing job coordinating this event and making it extra special for the bride and groom. Ok enough writing, lets get to the pictures!

As the bride was waiting to come down the stairs for the ceremony, I saw her through the steps and grabbed this shot....love it!

The first sight of the groom...she was so excited!

She couldn't stop smiling the entire ceremony.

After the ceremony we headed out for some relaxed portraits. We started out on the docks overlooking the San Pedro bay. I love how the light catches the bouquet in this shot....

Milking the last of the tasty, late evening sunlight

The first dance.....

I loved this shot of the bride's first dance with her father.

And one of my favorite shots of the day to part with!

Thanks so much you guys for having us there to capture your special day....it was truly an honor!

Countdown to 1 year!

I can't believe my little nephew is going to be 1 year old in 3 weeks! It's really crazy how fast time flies as you get older. I remember being younger and thinking that 1 year was such a looong time, and now I barely have enough time in a year to get anything done! Before I know it I will be taking pictures of Devin's kids!

Palos Verdes Wedding

Last Friday I got to spend the day with this fantastic couple up in beautiful Palos Verdes. What better way to kick off the weekend than with an amazing wedding like this! These two got hitched at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. This place has such a beautiful view of the ocean! They hired a steel drum band, which in my opinion is the way to go! I am definitely getting one of these at my wedding! Janel at Critic's Choice did an amazing job coordinating the event.

Special thanks to Adrienne for coming along and helping me shoot this wedding! Check out a few favorites from Friday....

Adrienne snapped this shot of the groom before the ceremony. Very relaxed!

The beautiful bride looking equally relaxed!

Adrienne got this perfect shot of the kiss....

I love this moment that Adrienne caught as they were leaving the ceremony, as the bride looked back over her shoulder at the guests cheering them on!

Time for some relaxed portraits!

Adrienne snapped this as I was setting them up for my shot. Good eye Adrienne...that's what I like to see!

Adrienne was workin' it with the sun flare! Beautiful!

The sunset was gorgeous.....

...a perfect ending to a perfect day. Congratulations you two!!

La Verne Wedding

Last Saturday I headed out to La Verne for another fabulous wedding. These two tied the knot at the La Verne Church of the Brethren, and their reception was held at South Hills Country Club in West Covina. A big thanks to Yesenia from Exquisite Wedding Planners for doing a fantastic job coordinating the event. I also brought along Jen Cleary to help me shoot....a big thanks to you Jen! Check out a few of my favorites from last weekend.

Check out this awesome shot Jen got of the guys praying before the ceremony.

The brides father was so proud! They have such a great relationship and it really shows when you see them interact.

The look of love....photo courtesy of Jen.

Jen grabbed this perfect moment during the kiss.

Jen snapped this shot of the guys before the ceremony.

Some relaxed portraits....always my favorite time of the day!

The grand exit was so cool....they had canons shooting out giant confetti!

Thanks for having us there to capture your special day! We had a blast and I hope you had a great time in Hawaii!
