Monday I had an engagement shoot with yet another super cool couple. Julie and Richie are getting married in July at the Japanese Gardens at CSULB. I am really excited for their wedding because I have never shot there before and I hear it is really nice. Check out some photos from Monday:

Jenny and Ernie 5/26/07 - Manhattan Beach

Saturday morning I had an engagement shoot for a really nice couple who are getting married next month in Ventura Beach. I usually do my beach shoots later in the day....around 4-5pm. This time I did it at 9am, and I think I am going to start doing that more often! The marine layer created some very nice lighting, plus the beach was empty so we were free to shoot almost anywhere without having people in the background. Check out some pics!

The Iceman 'Iced'!

"LAS VEGAS — A right hook from Quinton ``Rampage'' Jackson iced ``The Iceman.'' Jackson, 28, stopped UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell by technical knockout at UFC 71 Saturday night in Las Vegas. The challenger dropped Liddell with a right hand that landed flush on Liddell's chin and sent him to the canvas. Jackson pounced with several follow-up shots before referee John McCarthy called a halt to the fight at 1:53 of the first round."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Not my man Chuck!! I really wanted Chuck to win, but somehow deep down I had a bad feeling about it. It's ok though, he will come back in a rematch and regain the title...just you watch and see! Every good champion is eventually going to lose at some point or another. All you can do is take it in stride and come back a better fighter. Chuck, you're still the man!

Nelcy and Rudy 05-11-07

Yesterday I had an engagement shoot with the coolest couple ever! Nelcy and Rudy are both elementary school teachers, so we started off the shoot in the most obvious of places. Later we moved on to Point Fermin in San Pedro near the Korean Friendship Bell, then it was off to Point Vicente in Palos Verdes.....

So this is what teachers do when class is out huh?

Railroads and Graffitti!

Today I had an engagement shoot for some friends of mine who are getting married next month in Murrietta, CA. They were looking for something a little different then the usual SoCal beach type shoot, so we headed over to some graffitti walls and train tracks. Check out some photos of this cool location!
